Ukraine conducts bilateral screening meetings with the EU on entrepreneurship.


Negotiations have started in Brussels, Belgium, between Ukraine and the European Commission regarding the compliance of Ukrainian legislation with EU law in the field of entrepreneurship and industrial policy. The Ukrainian delegation stated its readiness to implement EU legislation and continue its European integration path.
The head of the delegation, Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration, Olga Stefanishyna, noted that Ukraine has made strategic progress in industrial policy and competitiveness, even under martial law, and continues to reform, improving the state of the business environment.
Attention is also focused on the development of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), including their digital and innovative potential. Ukraine aims to participate in EU industrial ecosystems and is interested in developing cooperation with European networks and expert groups.
During the negotiations, issues of implementation and alignment with EU policies in the fields of industrial policy, entrepreneurship, and legislation in industrial sectors will be discussed. EU legislation in these areas aims to enhance competitiveness and promote business development in the European Union.
The meeting of these delegations is an important step for Ukraine on its path to European integration and improving the business environment in the country, as well as deepening cooperation with the European Union.
