Preparation for the Rome Conference: Shmyhal Reveals Plans for Cooperation with EBRD.

Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal met with the President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Odile Renaud-Basso, where they discussed financial support for Ukraine and prospects for expanding cooperation.
Since the beginning of the Russian invasion, the EBRD has mobilized over 7 billion euros in investments to support the Ukrainian economy. These funds are being used for the implementation of critical infrastructure projects, such as cooperation with 'Ukrzaliznytsia', 'Ukrenergo', and 'Naftogaz'.
Currently, efforts are also underway to deepen cooperation with the EBRD by utilizing European Union guarantee mechanisms to mobilize additional financing for the recovery of the Ukrainian economy.
'We are working on signing important documents for cooperation with the EBRD in both the public and private sectors. In particular, in the fields of energy, communication, and transport. New projects are being prepared in cities and communities', - reported Shmyhal.
Denys Shmyhal also emphasized the importance of using confiscated Russian assets as a source of funding for the recovery of Ukraine, which remains a priority in negotiations with international partners.
The Ukrainian Prime Minister met with the leadership of the EBRD to discuss further financial support for the country and to expand cooperation in infrastructure, energy, and other sectors. Issues of signing new agreements and projects were considered, as well as the use of Russian assets for financing the recovery of the Ukrainian economy.
