In the Vyshhorod district of the Kyiv region, rescuers successfully contained a fire of 2.8 hectares that threatened the village of Maryanivka. This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES).
According to firefighters, in the Vyshhorod district, near the village of Maryanivka, a fire broke out yesterday on an open area with dry vegetation. Due to strong gusts of wind, the fire quickly spread across the field, bushes, and gardens.

Private houses, a farm, and a school were under threat.
Rescuers from three regions managed to contain the fire of 2.8 hectares, reported the SES.
It was also reported about the extinguishing of a fire on open land in the Kyiv region. A large number of rescuers and equipment are working at the scene. Special equipment for engineering works and specialists in radiation and chemical protection have also been involved.
The extinguishing of the fire on the peatlands of the Kyiv region is also ongoing. 75 firefighters and 21 units of equipment have been involved.
