According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as of the morning of April 23, 2025, the losses of Russian occupiers have been updated.
Russia's losses in the war as of April 23, 2025
According to estimates, Russia has suffered the following losses:
- Killed - approximately 944270 (+1210),
- Tanks lost - 10691 (+8),
- Combat armored vehicles lost - 22307 (+11),
- Artillery systems lost - 26774 (+85),
- Missile-artillery systems lost - 1368 (+1),
- Air defense systems lost - 1141 (+1),
- Aircraft lost - 370 (+0),
- Helicopters lost - 335 (+0),
- Unmanned aerial vehicles and drones lost - 33526 (+138),
- Cruise missiles lost - 3148 (+0),
- Ships / boats lost - 28 (+0),
- Submarines lost - 1 (+0),
- Automotive equipment and tankers lost - 45621 (+163),
- Special equipment lost - 3860 (+1).
Occupiers' fleet activity as of April 23
- In the Black Sea, there are two enemy ships that are carriers of cruise missiles 'Kalibr' and can launch up to 12 missiles simultaneously;
- In the Azov Sea, enemy ships are not present;
- In the Mediterranean Sea, there are three enemy ships, of which two are carriers of cruise missiles 'Kalibr' and can launch up to 12 missiles simultaneously.
During the last day, four vessels passed through the Kerch Strait in favor of Russia:
- In the Black Sea - four vessels, of which three continued their journey through the Bosphorus Strait;
- In the Azov Sea - five vessels, of which three continued their journey through the Bosphorus Strait.
It has already been 1155 days of full-scale war in Ukraine.
According to estimates by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russian occupiers have suffered significant losses in the war with Ukraine. This indicates our ability to withstand the aggressor and defend our territory. Our army continues to actively counter Russian aggression and remains mobilized to defend our country.
