Former NBA player talked about his stay in Bakhmut during the war.


Former basketball player Marcin Gortat talked about his trips to Ukraine, where he delivered aid to defenders. He noted that he had been in Bakhmut during the siege and shared his impressions of it. One of the Ukrainian football players, Lyubov Shmatko, will not be able to participate in the first match of the Nations League due to the death of her brother in the war. She traveled to Ukraine from Turkey to be with her family. Coaches and teammates support Shmatko and hope she can return for the second match against the Czech Republic.
Players of the Ukrainian national team will have two matches against the Czech Republic in April. The Ukrainians have the same number of points as the Czech team (6 each), but they lag behind on goal difference.
