President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky explained why partners do not allow the use of long-range weapons.
Zelensky noted that Ukraine has not used long-range weapons on the territory of the Russian Federation.
We have long-range weapons. But not in the quantity that we need. However, we still have this package — Storm Shadow, ATACMS, SCALP. But neither America nor Great Britain gave us permission to use these weapons on the territory of Russia, against any targets at any distance. We have not used long-range weapons on the territory of the Russian Federation
Zelensky emphasized that partners do not allow the use of long-range weapons due to fear of escalating the conflict.
Intelligences around the world talk to each other. And so it has been in all wars. And I think that at this level they exchange different information. There are many different factors, someone is talking about something, someone is negotiating with someone, for someone it is indeed an escalation
Zelensky also expressed the opinion that US President Joe Biden receives information from his entourage about the possible escalation of the conflict.
But, and this is important, not everyone in his entourage thinks so. And this is already an achievement, that not everyone in his entourage thinks so
Recall, Zelensky explained the need for urgent weapon supplies and called the data on Ukraine's losses a lie.
