The dream of 16-year-old Sviatoslav Novik has come true, who died in Kryvyi Rih during the Russian attack.

A dream after death: Sviatoslav Novik received recognition from Ukrzaliznytsia
On April 4, Sviatoslav died during a missile strike on Kryvyi Rih. The boy studied to be a locomotive assistant, as he dreamed of working in the railway system. Now the railway workers have honorably fulfilled his wish, said the head of Ukrzaliznytsia, Oleksandr Pertsovskyi.
Sviatoslav was an orphan and loved trains very much, which is why he entered the vocational school in Kryvyi Rih to become a locomotive assistant. But his life was cut short by the missile strike. Ukrzaliznytsia honored Kostya's memory by handing his classmates the certificates and railway cap that he wanted so much but did not have Time to receive.
«Sviatoslav received what he always dreamed of - a locomotive assistant's certificate and a railway cap! The UZ team handed them over to his classmates. We must support the youth who study in constantly threatened cities and be with them shoulder to shoulder. Oleksii Kuleba and the Ministry of Development team joined the 'Iron Shift' along with railway students. They will embark on an unusual railway journey where they will discover the most interesting corners of Ukraine. This trip will be in memory of Kostya Novik, the young locomotive assistant», - said Pertsovskyi.
It is worth noting that the attack on Kryvyi Rih on April 4 was the deadliest for children in a single strike. This was reported by the UN Human Rights Monitoring Mission. The spiritual advisor to the US President, Mark Burns, also condemned the attack and called the world to support Ukraine, denouncing Russia's terror.
This story shows that even after death, dreams can come true - Sviatoslav received recognition and the fulfillment of his wish. It also reminds us of the importance of supporting youth, especially in conditions of constant threat and danger. We must stand in solidarity with those who have been deprived of the opportunity to realize their dreams and help them find new paths for development and success.
