The debt of Ukrainians on microloans has nearly doubled.

In the first 9 months of 2024, Ukrainians took nearly 6 million loans from MFIs amounting to 37.11 billion UAH. This is less than before the war began.
The average loan amount has increased by 1.3 times and stands at 6,190 UAH. Overall, the debt on microloans has almost doubled since the beginning of the year.
Ukrainians took 5.9 million microloans totaling 37.11 billion UAH.
Over the year, the average amount of microloans increased by 28% and amounts to 6,190 UAH. However, compared to 2021, it has slightly decreased.
This year, an average of 670 thousand contracts are concluded monthly, which is the same indicator as last year. Compared to 2021, this figure has decreased.
The total debt of Ukrainians on microloans has increased by 1.7 times and amounts to 16.02 billion UAH.
