According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as of March 1, 2025, Russian occupiers have suffered losses. According to the General Staff information, Russia lost:
- personnel – about 875610 (+1050) people,
- tanks – 10233 (+11) units,
- armored fighting vehicles – 21249 (+15) units,
- artillery systems – 23908 (+61) units,
- MLRS – 1304 (+1) units,
- air defense systems – 1088 (+1) units,
- airplanes – 370 (+0) units,
- helicopters – 331 (+0) units,
- tactical level drones – 27402 (+128) units,
- cruise missiles – 3085 (+0) units,
- ships/boats – 28 (+0) units,
- submarines – 1 (+0) unit,
- vehicles and fuel trucks – 39101 (+107) units,
- special equipment – 3763 (+0) units.
Also, the activity of the occupiers' fleet as of March 1 was as follows:
- No enemy ships in the Black Sea;
- No enemy ships in the Azov Sea;
- In the Mediterranean Sea, there are four enemy ships, of which three are carriers of Kalibr cruise missiles and can launch up to 26 missiles simultaneously.
During the day, the following ships departed from Russia to the Kerch Strait:
- to the Black Sea – 12 ships, seven of which continued towards the Bosphorus;
- to the Azov Sea – 11 ships, of which eight were moving from the Bosphorus.
Currently, the 1102nd day of the full-scale war in Ukraine continues.
