Thermal springs are natural healing sources that can be found not only abroad but also in Ukraine.
Hot Springs of Transcarpathia
Transcarpathia is famous for its thermal springs that attract tourists from both the east and the west. Here are some of the most popular places in the region:
- Beregove (Transcarpathian region) - here you can find water with numerous beneficial elements at a temperature of 55°C, which helps in treating various illnesses.
- Koson (Beregiv district) - this place is ideal for treating skin and heart problems, thanks to the content of beneficial substances in the water.
- Velyatino (Khust district) - a village with thermal water of various temperatures that are popular for therapeutic procedures.
- Dovhe (Irshava district) - here you can find unique iodide-bromine and methane springs that are beneficial for body health.
- Vynogradiv (Transcarpathian region) - this place is renowned for its highly mineralized thermal water.
Besides Transcarpathia, hot springs can also be found in the Kherson region, but some of them, such as the geyser near the village of Oblaya, are currently unavailable due to the occupation of the territory.
