From 56 to 62 hryvnias: experts explained how prices at gas stations will change in March.

Experts predict that prices for gasoline and diesel fuel in Ukraine in March 2025 are likely to remain the same as in February. According to Dmytro Leushkin, this may be due to fluctuations in oil prices. However, he also noted that there is a high probability that fuel prices will not change at all. In addition, the expert emphasized that there are sufficient resources in the market.
'If Ukrainian gas stations change their price tags next month, it will be approximately by plus/minus 50 kopecks. This may happen due to fluctuations in oil prices. However, there is a high probability that fuel prices in Ukraine will not change at all in March,'said Dmytro Leushkin.
According to Serhiy Kuyun, director of the consulting company 'A-95', the activation of farmers will not lead to an increase in fuel prices, as logistics in Ukraine are well established. He also noted that fuel markups remain at the level of autumn 2024, while driver demand remains low.
However, there may be force majeure circumstances that could affect the fuel market. In particular, the policy of US President Donald Trump poses a potential threat. It is expected that the restoration of oil exports from Iraq may improve supplies to global markets, including Europe.
Currently, the price of Brent crude oil is 74.29 dollars per barrel, while the price of West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil is 70.18 dollars per barrel.
In Ukraine, the highest average price for A-95 gasoline is 60.20 UAH per liter, while the cheapest premium A-95 gasoline is sold for 56.20 UAH per liter. Prices also vary in different regions of the country.
Thus, given the current situation, stability in fuel prices in Ukraine is expected throughout March 2025.
