The first stage of the competition for the position of the Head of Public Broadcasting has concluded
On April 8, the first stage of the competition for the position of the Head of the Board of Public Broadcasting ended. Four candidates were allowed to proceed to the second stage of the competition as they met the established requirements. This was reported by 'Glavkom'.
The candidates allowed to continue in the competition are as follows:
Volodymyr Valkovets Oleksandr Tkachenko Mykola Faiengold Mykola Chernotytskyi
The candidates Oleksandr Kharebin and Yurii Yurchenko were not allowed to proceed to the second stage of the competition.
During the second stage of the competition, the candidates will present their development programs and participate in voting.
The date and Time of the meeting will be announced 48 hours in advance. The meeting will be broadcasted for media and public representatives.
The Head of the Board of Public Broadcasting is elected on a competitive basis according to the Regulations on the competition for the selection of the Head and members of the Board, for a term of 4 years.
It should be noted that the Public broadcaster commissioned a sociological survey for a million. The National Public Broadcasting Company of Ukraine on March 18 ordered services for public opinion polling for UAH 949 thousand.
Analysis
The first stage of the competition for the position of the Head of Public Broadcasting has been successfully completed, allowing four candidates to proceed to the second stage. A secret ballot was held, the results of which allowed the selection of promising candidates. The second stage of the competition involves listening to development programs and voting, which will take place later. We hope that the choice of the new Head of Public Broadcasting will benefit Ukrainian society and bring positive changes to the media landscape of the country.
