Scientists detect strange signals from the center of the Milky Way.

Searching for signs of alien intelligence in the Milky Way
Scientists from Cornell University in the USA have begun searching for signs of extraterrestrial intelligent life, focusing on radio signals coming from the center of the Milky Way. They study narrow-band signals emitted by pulsars, as such signals are easier to detect amidst radio noise. Researchers have developed software for radio signal analysis and tested its effectiveness on known pulsars. They hope that this method will help detect the artificial origin of radio signals and discover a possible extraterrestrial intelligent civilization in our galaxy.
The center of the Milky Way has a large number of stars, around some of which planets may exist, where life could potentially be. If aliens wish to communicate with intelligent species, they may send special signals across the galaxy.
