RF troops are trying to destroy all houses in the city of Kurakhove, even low-rise buildings.
The Operational Command 'Khortytsia' claims that the outskirts of Kurakhove are completely destroyed.
Spokesman of OSUV 'Khortytsia' Viktor Trehubov stated that Russia is trying to destroy all houses, even small low-rise buildings in the city. The outskirts of the city are completely ruined, there are no fortifications for defense. Not a single house remains, and the area has turned into scorched earth that cannot be used for defense,' he said.
Trehubov emphasized that the occupiers actively use the scorched earth tactic in Kurakhove, which they previously used in the battle for Donetsk airport.
'In Kurakhove the situation is indeed complicated, a significant part of the city is destroyed. Ukrainian troops are holding on in the western part of the city, at its western outskirts. They also control the power plant located in the city,' the spokesman reported.
