In Odesa, the house destroyed by the Russian attack is being restored — here’s how.


In Odesa, on Novoselskoho Street, the restoration of the building that suffered due to drone attacks from Russia has begun. Work is already underway on the roof of the building, reports the Odesa City Council.
Damaged House
On Novoselskoho Street in Odesa, the restoration of the apartment building that received significant damage due to Russian shelling has commenced. The attacks caused severe damage to the exterior structures and the roof.
Currently, the roof restoration is ongoing: work has been completed on the left wing, and the roofing of the front wing is in progress. There are also plans for the dismantling of the emergency wing, replacement of load-bearing structures, roofing, and walls.
Shelling of Odesa on November 14, 2024
On November 14, 2024, Russian forces attacked Odesa with drones. As a result of the shelling, a 35-year-old woman was killed, and 10 others were injured. Out of nine multi-storey buildings, schools, car service stations, churches, commercial facilities, heating networks, private garages, and vehicles were damaged. The port infrastructure of the city was also affected.
It was also reported that in Odesa, they will film the houses that were damaged as a result of the shelling, and how Russia affected the cultural monuments of the city.
In Odesa, the repair of the building that was damaged as a result of the drone attacks from Russia has started. Several facilities were seriously damaged during the shelling, and the repair work is now in motion to restore the city after this attack.
