The government approved two members of the supervisory board of the Defense Procurement Agency.


The Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers approved new members of the supervisory board of the Defense Procurement Agency of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, as reported with reference to the Ministry of Defense.
At the request of the head of the defense agency Rustem Umerov, the first deputy minister of defense Ivan Havryliuk and former deputy minister of defense Stanislav Haider were included in the board as state representatives.
Earlier, Rustem Umerov removed two state representatives from the supervisory board. They are the head of the 'Come Back Alive' fund Taras Chmut and his former deputy Andriy Dyzyhir. They supported extending the contract with the previous head of the Defense Procurement Agency, Maryna Bezrukova. Rustem Umerov proposed Arsen Jumadilov for the position of the agency's head.
Arsen Jumadilov was previously the general director of the Ministry of Defense's procurement agency 'State Logistics Operator'. He will now lead the Defense Procurement Agency.
