Ukrainian intelligence agents destroyed three expensive radar systems of the Russian Federation in Crimea.


The special forces of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine launched an attack on three radar stations of the Russian Federation in Crimea. This was reported by the press service of GUR.
"On November 29, 2024, as a result of the operation of the GUR of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, successful strikes were made against Russian radar systems," it is stated in the message.
As a result, the following stations were damaged:
- Radar "Kasta-2e2";
- two Radar "Podlyot".
Radar "Kasta-2e2" is a mobile three-coordinate radar system manufactured in Russia. It is designed for airspace control, determining coordinates, and identifying aerial targets, including at low altitudes. Its detection range reaches 150 km.
Radar "Podlyot" is used for detecting and tracking aircraft, helicopters, and missiles at low and extremely low altitudes. It can monitor more than 200 targets at an altitude of over 10 km and at distances exceeding 200 km. This station was acquired by the Russian army in 2015 for over 5 million dollars.
On November 28, 2024, intelligence agents also destroyed the Russian radar complex "Podlyot" in Crimea, worth 5 million dollars.
