Ukraine returned 277 military personnel from captivity: who are the freed.


The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, announced the return of 277 Ukrainian servicemen from captivity in Russia. Among them are representatives of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard, the State Special Transport Service, and border guards.
According to the president, the freed soldiers participated in defending Mariupol and other fronts in Donetsk, as well as Kherson, Zaporizhia, and Luhansk.
'The return of our soldiers is very good news,' Zelensky stated.
The president also expressed gratitude to the United Arab Emirates for their role in the process of freeing Ukrainian soldiers.
In total, since the beginning of the war, 4,552 people have died, and about the same number have been returned from captivity, including military and civilians.
'We do not forget about all those who remain in captivity. We continue to do everything possible to return everyone,' Zelensky emphasized.
