An explosion in the border zone in Rivne region: OVA reported the details.

An explosion occurred in the Rivne region involving a motorcyclist who was traveling through the border zone around the villages of Drozdyn and Perebrody. The man ignored warning signs about mines that were placed on this route. The news was reported by the head of the Rivne Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Koval.
Koval noted that the motorcyclist's life is not in danger at the moment. Service representatives are investigating the circumstances of the explosion at the scene.
The head of the OVA reminded that there are restrictions at the border, and approaching it is only possible with the permission of border guards.
"This is a serious threat to your life," emphasized Koval.
According to him, the regional authorities, together with law enforcement and the military, are constantly strengthening the border and installing mines. Such incidents are dangerous, so he urged everyone to be responsible and cautious.
Recall that on August 8, explosions in the border zone occurred in the Rivne region, resulting in a civilian being injured. Oleksandr Koval reported that this person was traveling towards the border and ignored warning signs about mines.
Previously, it was reported that Ukraine became the second country by the number of victims from anti-personnel mines in 2022, surpassing almost the entire world except Syria.
