Tragic death of French champion Margaux Simon
In France, during training at the Red Bull Alpine Park competition, Margaux Simon, former French U18 slalom champion, died. Immediate assistance was provided, but her life could not be saved. The Albertville prosecutor's office is investigating this tragedy.
'FIS expresses its heartfelt condolences to Margaux's family and loved ones and offers its full support during this incredibly difficult Time,' the federation's statement said.
