The White House denied any US involvement in the explosions in Lebanon.

The White House stated that the United States has no involvement in the explosions of pagers and other devices used by Hezbollah militants in Lebanon. White House adviser John Kirby reported this.
"I can say that we were in no way involved in either yesterday's or today's (respectively Tuesday and Wednesday - ed.) incidents," assured the White House representative.
However, Kirby refused to answer the question whether Israel has any involvement in blowing up Hezbollah's communication means.
When asked whether the White House considers escalation in the Middle East that would complicate negotiations, Kirby noted: The United States supports the position of the need to avoid increased tension.
"We continue to try to reach a solution diplomatically, as we believe that this is the best way to prevent a new front in Lebanon," added Kirby.
Recall that over 2,000 people were affected by the explosions of pagers used by Hezbollah all over Lebanon on Tuesday. On Wednesday, there were also explosions of other communication devices used by militants.
