Sviatoslav Vakarchuk showed a rare photo with his mother.

Leader of the band 'Okean Elzy' Sviatoslav Vakarchuk, together with his mother, visited Mukachevo on the eve of Easter. He posted a photo of their walk on social media, captioning it with a quote from his song.

This is not the first Time the artist has come to Transcarpathia to enjoy the blooming sakura. Last year, he also visited Mukachevo with his mother during the blooming of Japanese cherries.

Earlier, Vakarchuk commented on the news about his salary in 2024. This year, he earned 1 million hryvnias, which is 10 times less than in 2023. The largest part of the artist's income was from military service - 330.7 thousand hryvnias. Compared to 2022-2023, Vakarchuk's income from military service amounted to 764.7 thousand hryvnias.

Vakarchuk's manager reported that he does not have a combatant certificate and does not plan to return to politics.

In May 2024, Vakarchuk submitted a declaration upon his discharge from military service. However, the press service of the band 'Okean Elzy' explained that this does not mean the demobilization of the artist, as he remains mobilized in the Armed Forces and is being transferred to a new position. There has been no information about Vakarchuk's new position in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
