Snow and Frost: Climatologist Answered Whether Early Winter is Possible in Ukraine.

Head of the Department of Applied Meteorology and Climatology of the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Institute of the SES Vera Balabukh reported that early winter is possible in Ukraine and when to expect the first frosts and snow.
In recent years, residents of Ukraine have more often noticed weather instability and deviations from traditional seasonal norms. Many are wondering when to expect winter this year.
She forecasts that autumn in Ukraine will be warm and dry, especially in the first half.
"In the near future, frosts and snow are not expected. Likely, by the end of the month, they could be in the highlands of the Carpathians," said Vera Balabukh.
She also noted that a sharp change in weather is not expected, and meteorologists will certainly warn about it. It's too early to talk about early winter, but this year it was quite warm. Also, temperature records were broken this year in spring and summer.
She explained that the air temperature in autumn does not depend on what it will be in winter. Seasonal weather features depend on many factors, the main one being the general circulation of the atmosphere and the interaction between the atmosphere and the ocean.
A significant impact on temperature is the greenhouse effect, which leads to an increase in Earth's temperature throughout the year. The intensity of the greenhouse effect is constantly increasing due to human activities.
Recall that Didenko earlier gave a weather forecast for mid-September.
