How Many Ukrainians Still Have a Positive Attitude Towards Russia: Survey Results.

3% of Ukrainians Have a Positive Attitude Towards Russia
According to a survey by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology, only 3% of Ukrainian citizens have a positive attitude towards Russia - the aggressor country.
According to the results of the study, after Russia's invasion of Ukraine, the absolute majority of the country's population has a negative attitude towards the Russian Federation. As of October 2024, 93% of citizens have a negative attitude towards this country, only 3% have a positive attitude. Another 4% of respondents could not determine their position.
The research results show that even before the invasion of Ukraine, there were quite a lot of people in the Western and Central regions of the country who had a positive attitude towards Russia - 21% and 31%, respectively. In the South and East, the number of such people was even greater than those who had a negative attitude - 45% in the South (against 40%) and 53% in the East (against 30%).
In October 2024, the absolute majority of the population in all regions of Ukraine (from 88% in the East to 96% in the West) had a negative attitude towards Russia. The number of people who had a positive attitude towards this country varied from 1% in the West to 5% in the South.
The KIIS survey was conducted from September 10 to 16 and from September 20 to October 3 through random mobile number selection. 1013 adult respondents from all regions of Ukraine, except the occupied territories, were interviewed.
It was previously noted that 43.6% of Poles believe that relations between Ukraine and Poland have "rather worsened," and 17.7% believe that they have "definitely worsened." This data is obtained from a United Surveys poll for the publication Wirtualna Polska.
Interestingly, most Ukrainians are willing to endure the war as long as necessary. The majority of those who are ready to wait are people aged 18 to 29, as indicated by data from the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology survey.
