Scandalous House on Pechersk Hills: NABU reported on the status of the investigation against MP Khalimon.


The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) has closed the investigation into the possible illegal enrichment of MP Pavlo Khalimon, who represents the 'Servant of the People' party. This is reported by RegioNews citing NABU's response.
The investigation numbered 42023000000000096, which started on January 26, 2023, was closed on December 19, 2024, as there was not enough evidence to notify Khalimon of suspicion of illegal enrichment.
NABU detectives conducted a pre-trial investigation within the criminal proceedings that started on January 26, 2023. However, there was not enough evidence to suspect Khalimon of a crime under Article 368-5 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, so a decision was made to close the investigation on December 19, 2024.
The proceedings were opened based on an investigation by journalists from the 'Ukrainian Truth' publication, which pointed to possible illegal enrichment of Khalimon. According to journalists, Khalimon purchased a house in the center of Kyiv at an undervalued price. However, NABU's investigation found no evidence to support this accusation.
