Sikorski proposed an alternative for Crimea, Yermak reacted.

Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski proposes transferring Crimea under the mandate of the UN. He stated this during a discussion at the YES meeting in Kyiv. According to Sikorski, Crimea plays an important role in peace negotiations between Ukraine and Russia. He believes that peace cannot be achieved without the demilitarization of Crimea. The Minister also noted that one of the options for resolving the Crimea issue could be the transfer of the peninsula under the UN mandate for a fair referendum.
Andriy Yermak, head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, reacted to this statement and emphasized that Crimea belongs to Ukraine and that Russia must be held accountable for violating international law. It was previously reported that Zelensky quarreled with Sikorski in Kyiv.
