'The silence mode does not stop the war': Aliyev shared Azerbaijan's experience regarding conflicts.

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev stated that he sees no prospects for peaceful settlement between Ukraine and Russia in the foreseeable future. He expressed his position during a speech at the international forum 'Towards a New World Order,' as reported by Central Asia Media.
'Personally, as a realist, I see no prospects for peace between Ukraine and Russia in the foreseeable future,' emphasized the leader of Azerbaijan.
According to Aliyev, ceasefire regimes do not stop wars but only give the parties the opportunity to prepare for new hostilities. 'As the leader of a country that has experienced two hot wars and the period between them, I can tell you that ceasefire never stops the war. Never. The war did not stop in our case either. It is just a temporary relief for countries to regroup, mobilize, and start all over again,' explained the president.

Aliyev reminded that Russia has already declared the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine as 'its own' and has no plans to retreat from this position. At the same Time, Kyiv and the international community recognize these territories as part of Ukraine and are also not ready to concede.
'How can they sacrifice and say: no, this is not part of Ukraine? Well, if that happens, it means that I do not understand something in international politics,' noted the president of Azerbaijan.
He added that 'unfortunately, wars end when a final act of capitulation is signed.' The president also emphasized that Azerbaijan has always been on Kyiv's side in the issue of the war between Russia and Ukraine, as this country itself once suffered from occupation and violation of territorial integrity.
It should also be noted that Trump is disappointed with the actions of Ukraine and Russia.
