Passing the Military Medical Commission for Persons with Limited Fitness. The Ministry of Defense Reminds About the Deadlines

All those who received a decision on limited fitness for military service by May 4, 2024, must undergo a repeated military medical commission. This was reminded by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, reports

Ghalcom.

The deadline for those with limited fitness to undergo the repeated military medical commission is June 5, 2025, inclusive.

Who is Obligated to Undergo the Repeated Military Medical Commission

Male citizens of Ukraine aged 25 to 60 who, based on previous medical examinations, were recognized as limited fit for military service. Persons with disabilities of any group are not subject to repeated military medical commission under this requirement.

Mechanism for Passing the Repeated Military Medical Commission

Military personnel can independently obtain a referral to undergo the military medical commission from the territorial center for recruitment and social support (TCK and SP). There is also the option of self-obtaining a referral for the military medical commission through the electronic system

Reserve+
.

With the obtained referral, one must contact the military medical commission designated by the TCK and SP. This may be the military medical commission at TCK and SP, military hospital, or another healthcare facility. Identification documents, military registration documents, and medical documentation (if available), as well as previous medical examination results, must be brought along.

Consequences of Not Complying with the Legal Requirements

In the event of citizens failing to comply with the obligation established by law to undergo a repeated medical examination as this category of military personnel:

  • TCK and SP will submit appropriate requests to the National Police of Ukraine;
  • police officers, based on the requests from TCK and SP, will carry out administrative detentions and deliver military personnel to the nearest district (city) TCK and SP;
  • delivered citizens will be subject to administrative liability and will simultaneously be sent for a medical examination, including after the legal deadline for undergoing the medical examination.

We remind you that two new deferrals have appeared in the

Reserve+
application: for people with temporary unfitness based on the results of the military medical commission, as well as for families where the wife or husband is in the military, and they have a child under 18 years old. This was reported by
Ghalcom
, citing the Ministry of Defense.

The repeated military medical commission is an important stage for those recognized as limited fit for military service. These procedures allow for health status verification and determination of fitness for military service. Failure to meet legal requirements can have serious consequences, including administrative measures and liability. The introduction of new deferrals in the 'Reserve+' system contributes to the expansion of social guarantees for certain population categories in Ukraine.
