PrivatBank warns clients about a new scam scheme: data is being stolen from this number.

PrivatBank users have been alerted about a new fraud scheme. According to the Center for Countering Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council, fraudsters have developed a new tactic to deceive PrivatBank clients. They call from the number 044 364 53 20, pretending to be employees of the bank's security service.
During the conversation, the fraudsters inform clients that several small transfers have recently been made from their cards (within the last 20 minutes) in favor of an aggressor country.
The fraudsters offer to cancel these transactions and arrange protection against fraud. They exert psychological pressure, demanding immediate actions from the client - to record a voice message and confirm the bank card details. In reality, this is an attempt to steal personal data and gain access to accounts.
The fraudsters mention their so-called 'personal number' to create an appearance of legitimacy and suggest checking it on the official PrivatBank website.
The goal of these fraudsters is to obtain clients' personal data to conduct illegal operations and steal money. Be aware that real bank employees will never ask for the full card number, PIN code, or CVV code.
It is recommended to be cautious and not disclose personal information or conduct financial operations during calls or messages from unknown persons who claim to be bank employees.
If you receive a call from fraudsters, it is recommended to contact the bank's call center and report the offenders. If you become a victim of fraudsters, you should contact the cyber police or other competent authorities.
It was previously reported that fraudsters spam clients of Oschadbank with letters.
