The President of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, stated that Iran is ready to end the nuclear standoff with the West and hopes for the easing of American sanctions. He also noted that Iran is ready to interact with the participants of the 2015 nuclear deal if all obligations are met. The President emphasized the need for a peaceful resolution of the conflict in Ukraine and called for an end to the military confrontation. Relations between Tehran and the West have deteriorated as a result of the Hamas attack on Israel and Iran's support of Russia in the war in Ukraine. Iran is also developing cooperation with Russia, which is confirmed by the signing of a cooperation agreement and the supply of weapons.
