Customers will not like it - how ATB rewrote the prices for eggs.

Ukrainian supermarkets are in no hurry to lower the prices of chicken eggs. Consumers are waiting for seasonal discounts, while some chains are raising prices on the demanded product. The savings on individual eggs at ATB became less noticeable in July 2025.

The News.LIVE website reports on what is happening with the prices of chicken eggs in ATB and other supermarkets in Ukraine.

How much do eggs cost at ATB

According to the Ministry of Finance, the average price of a carton of C1 category eggs ranges from 64.80 to 73.53 UAH. However, expenses can be reduced by keeping an eye on promotional offers in stores. ATB rarely offers discounts on chicken eggs, but it includes individual products in its assortment, allowing customers to pay less for a dozen.

We found out how much one egg costs in an open tray as of July 9, 2025 - 4.63 UAH. Therefore, a dozen will cost just 46.30 UAH. In comparison, the cheapest carton at ATB costs 59.90 UAH, providing a saving of 13.60 UAH. With that money, you can buy two additional eggs (three if you add another 40 kopecks).

What are the egg prices in supermarkets

We also monitored online stores of other well-known supermarket chains and learned about the current minimum price of a carton of chicken eggs. The results are as follows:

• Varus - from 49.90 UAH (category C2);
• Silpo - from 56.99 UAH (category C2);
• Aushan - from 57.90 UAH (category C1);
• ATB - from 59.90 UAH (category C1);
• Forum - from 59.90 UAH (category C1);
• Novus - from 59.99 UAH (category C1);
• ЭКО Market - from 65.02 UAH (category C2);
• Metro - from 66.46 UAH (category C2);
• Ultramarket - from 67.40 UAH (category C2);
• MegaMarket - from 67.70 UAH (category C2).

At the same Time, some establishments offer visitors good discounts. For example, Varus discounts products whose expiration dates are nearing. This allows customers to pay half as much for a carton and save a substantial amount. An 11% discount on packaged chicken eggs is available at Novus, 7% at Auchan, 13% at Forum, and 10% at Silpo.

What else should Ukrainians know

Let us remind you that we found out the current price of a kilogram of zucchini in various supermarkets in Ukraine and figured out how many pieces can be bought for 50 UAH in July. The result may surprise consumers who did not expect to get such a quantity of vegetables.
