Oleksandr Fedienko, a Member of Parliament of Ukraine, reported the first cases of fines imposed by territorial recruitment centers (TCC) on conscripts after their registration in the 'Reserve+' application.
Fedienko mentioned three specific cases:
- A conscript, who was not previously registered in the TCC, received a fine of 17 thousand hryvnias after applying to update his data.
- A citizen who lost his military ID was also fined 17 thousand hryvnias when trying to update his data.
- In the third case, a conscript who had a police report about the theft of documents together with the military ID received a fine of 5100 hryvnias.
Fedienko noted that all fines were imposed in accordance with current legislation but expressed doubts about the appropriateness of the fine in the first case. He also suggested that the head of the TCC might have their explanations but emphasized that the actions of TCC leaders comply with the law.
In addition, Fedienko reported that from August 1, 10 categories of Ukrainians lost their right to deferment from mobilization.
