Pensioners will receive additional payments for years of service starting in 2025.

In 2025, pensioners who reach the age of 65 will be entitled to additional payments from the state. However, they must have the relevant work experience: women - at least 30 years, and men - at least 35 years. This was reported by 24 Channel.
If the pension of a person who has reached 65 years is less than 40% of the minimum wage, which is less than 8,000 hryvnias (for 2024), they will automatically be credited with an additional payment.
This rule will remain unchanged in 2025, so pensioners will not have to apply to the Pension Fund to receive the funds.
Additional payments are provided not only for pensioners aged 65. For example, pensioners aged 70 to 74 will receive a supplement of 300 hryvnias, from 75 to 79 years - 456 hryvnias, and for persons over 80 years the amount of the supplement will be 570 hryvnias.
It is worth reminding that from 2025 pensions will decrease for more than 23 thousand people.
