Estonian Parliament Opens Exhibition "For the Crimea".
An art exhibition dedicated to the history of the Crimean Tatar people opened in the Estonian parliament. Its name is "QIRIM İÇÜN / For the Crimea". The exhibition tells about the complex history of the Crimean Tatar people, in particular about the deportation of 1944, when almost 200,000 Crimean Tatars were displaced. In addition, the exhibition showcases elements of Crimean Tatar culture.
The art project presented at the exhibition highlights important stages in the history of the Crimean Tatars. The exhibition also features a deportation diary, works by artists, and portraits of Crimean Tatar military personnel. The opening of the exhibition took place at the Riigikogu with the participation of the Estonian Parliament and the Embassy of Ukraine in Estonia.
This event took place against the backdrop of Estonia's plans to send its military personnel to western Ukraine and the new plan of the North Atlantic Alliance, which grants Estonia the right to strike Russian territory in case of an attack.
