Odesa Muay Thai boxers won at the European Championship.


European Championship in Muay Thai: success of Ukrainian athletes
From November 7 to 14, the European Championship in Muay Thai took place in Pristina (Republic of Kosovo), where the national team of Ukraine participated. It is known that Ukrainian athletes from Odesa showed excellent results and achieved several victories.
The team of Ukraine included athletes from Comprehensive Children's and Youth Sports School No. 7 - Nikita Kuts, Bohdan Studnev, and Dmytro Zanin, as well as athletes from Comprehensive Children's and Youth Sports School No. 16 - Elina Persn’ova and Valeriy Denysov.
As a result of the competitions, Nikita Kuts (54 kg) and Bohdan Studnev (60 kg) became European champions among adults, and Valeriy Denysov won a silver medal due to an injury. Dmytro Zanin received a silver medal in the youth competitions. The Ukrainian team took first place in the overall team competition among adults and second place in the overall standings.
It is also worth mentioning that at the World Powerlifting Championship in Iceland, the Ukrainian team won five medals and five licenses to participate in the World Games 2025.
