The Council of Europe has also begun the creation of a special tribunal to investigate crimes committed by Russia against Ukraine.
Occupiers hit an industrial facility in Sumy
Russian troops today launched a missile strike on an industrial facility in Sumy. As a result of the attack, three people were killed, and nine were injured. The consequences of the strike are being assessed, and relevant services are working at the scene. The ambassadors of the European Union also approved a new package of sanctions against Russia, aimed at hitting the 'shadow fleet' and individuals associated with the military-industrial complex.
In the opinion of European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, this is yet another step in the fight against Russian aggression and limiting technologies for conducting hostilities. These steps demonstrate Europe's readiness to confront Russia and support Ukraine on its path to EU membership.
