In Vinnytsia, the TPP stopped operation after Russian attacks.

The Ladyzhyn thermal power plant is resuming its operation after being shelled by Russia on November 17. Specialists from Ukrenergo are working on eliminating the consequences of the shelling, dismantling rubble and damaged equipment. As a result of the plant being de-energized, 430 populated areas were without electricity supply. However, thanks to the prompt response of Vinnytsia Oblenergo, electricity was restored for 222 thousand residents.
Due to the shelling, Ladyzhyn switched to an alternative heat supply system. Solid fuel and gas boilers are operational, as well as the city hospital's boilers. All these sources are equipped with generators in case of power outages.
Currently, efforts are actively being made in Ukraine to eliminate the consequences of the Russian attack on the energy system. Thousands of subscribers in Odesa and Dnipropetrovsk regions were left without electricity supply, leading to measures to limit electricity consumption.
On November 17, Russian occupiers carried out a massive launch of missiles and drones. Air defense forces managed to destroy more than 140 targets.
The Minister of Energy of Ukraine reported that energy system facilities across the country are under attack from terrorists. Emergency power outages have been introduced. The Russian attack on November 17 caused significant damage to the energy infrastructure and a reduction in electric power at nuclear power plants.
