The Ministry of Foreign Affairs refused workers from Bangladesh visas for employment in Transcarpathia.

The furniture factory 'Lamella' has suspended the recruitment of foreign workers due to the refusal to open visas. The Head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Myroslav Biletsky stated that the factory began negotiations with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding the recruitment of citizens from Bangladesh under the terms of a labor contract. However, no workers from Bangladesh have arrived at the factory. The factory will now look for new employees through the employment center.
The 'Lamella' factory is located in the Tyachiv district of Transcarpathia. The company decided to recruit foreign workers due to a shortage of labor. Currently, 430 people work at the factory, but there is a need to hire another 160. Vacancies were opened for citizens of Bangladesh, but their applications were rejected. This has sparked a heated reaction online.
