EU Leaders Confirmed Support for Ukraine
Heads of state and government of the EU confirmed their support for Ukraine and its efforts to achieve a just and lasting peace. President of the European Council, António Costa, stated that Europe will continue to support Ukraine, even having already provided assistance amounting to 134 billion euros.
In addition, it was decided that EU countries will take greater responsibility for their defense. António Costa added that it is necessary to increase funding for the development of defense capabilities and partnerships, as well as strengthen the European defense industry.
