April pensions have arrived: PFC revealed important indicators.


On April 25, 2025, the Pension Fund of Ukraine announced that it had completed funding for pension payments for the current month. The total amount allocated for pensions in April is UAH 67.4 billion.
As of April 24, UAH 65.0 billion of pension payments have already been financed. Of this, UAH 9.4 billion was received through 'Ukrposhta', and UAH 55.6 billion - through banking institutions.
This month, funds were also allocated for housing subsidies and benefits totaling UAH 5888.4 million. UAH 2936.5 million was directed to insurance payments, of which UAH 1682.4 million was allocated for sick leave.
The Pension Fund also provided 834.9 thousand services to citizens who applied to PFC authorities.
It is recalled that pensioners aged 65 and older receive guaranteed supplements in Ukraine. With the current minimum wage of UAH 8000, the minimum pension is UAH 3200, while pensioners actually receive UAH 3370.
Additionally, some pensioners receive one-Time financial assistance. This applies to education workers who have full insurance records: at least 35 years for men and 30 years for women.
According to Resolution No. 299 dated 11.02.2025, internally displaced persons have gained the right to choose a bank to receive their pensions. Now IDPs receiving pensions through 'Oschadbank' can choose any other authorized bank.
Kiev has the highest pensions in Ukraine, where the average amount of payments is UAH 8,708. The lowest pension is received by residents of Ternopil region - UAH 4,931, Chernivtsi - UAH 5,100, and Transcarpathia - UAH 5,175.
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine supported the limitation of some pensions in the first reading of Bill No. 12278 on pension provision for prosecutors. According to this bill, pensions for length of service will be assigned and paid after dismissal from positions.
