The women's national tennis team of Ukraine will play against Spain during the Billie Jean King Cup Final. According to 'Glavkom', this will be the next step for our athletes in the tournament.

The Billie Jean King Cup Final is scheduled to take place in Shenzhen (China) from September 16 to 21.

It is worth noting that this is the first Time the women's national team of Ukraine has reached the final stage of the Billie Jean King Cup.

After two days of competition, Ukraine topped Group E of the Billie Jean King Cup qualifiers.

On the last day of the competition, the Ukrainian team faced the Swiss team, where only one set needed to be won in three matches to advance to the final.

In the first match against Switzerland, Ukraine lost in two sets – Marta Kostyuk lost to Celine Naef.

In the next match, Elina Svitolina defeated Jill Teichmann in two sets and secured our team a spot in the Billie Jean King Cup final – 6:4, 6:2.
