Who will receive 10 pensions at once: expert clarification.

Pension provision expert Serhiy Korobkin explained how the length of service pension is assigned and who is granted a one-Time monetary benefit in the amount of 10 pensions.
According to Korobkin, some pensioners who have reached retirement age are entitled to receive a one-time payment in the amount of 10 monthly pensions. This applies to individuals who are entitled to a length of service pension, in particular doctors, teachers, social workers, athletes, and artists.
"Ten pensions are paid immediately to those who have 35 years of service for men and 30 years for women in the respective positions," explains the expert.
Korobkin notes that previously the length of service pension was assigned to many categories of workers, including railway workers, truck drivers in mines, geologists, loggers, dockers, and others. However, after the pension reform in 2017, most types of length of service pensions were canceled.
Currently, the right to early retirement for length of service is retained only for artists with 20 to 35 years of service, as well as law enforcement officers whose retirement age is regulated by separate laws.
"According to some data, military personnel and police officers retire on average at 51 years, prosecutors at 47 years, and judges receive a pension on average at about 55 years," adds Korobkin.
The expert emphasizes that the rules for receiving a one-time benefit in the amount of 10 pensions are quite strict, but if a person has worked in the relevant position all their life, they will be able to receive this payment upon reaching retirement age.
