A 15-year-old boy has returned from the occupied territory, having not seen his father for over three years.

According to the Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada for Human Rights, Dmytro Lubinets, a 15-year-old boy has been successfully retrieved from the territory occupied by Russia, where he had been living with relatives after his mother's death but dreamed of returning to his father in Ukrainian territory.
“The father was unable to fulfill his dream of returning the child by himself. That is why he turned to the Ombudsman’s Office. Our team helped in the return of the young man and supported the father until this Time,” Lubinets said.
According to the plan of the President of Ukraine, Bring Kids Back UA, the child was successfully rescued from the occupied territory. It is also worth noting that the occupation administrations organize excursions for schoolchildren in areas that are a constant target in the Kursk region.
In Luhansk region, there are 102 battalions of the “Young Army,” in which more than six thousand Ukrainian children participate.
