During the Revolution of Dignity, Khablov was on the Maidan with the students and had the honor of carrying the university flag. He was not only a history teacher but also an active and initiative person.
After the Revolution, Khablov joined the National Guard of Ukraine and participated in the Anti-Terrorist Operation. Upon completion of his contract, he returned to the university, where he worked in the personnel department until the invasion began.
Colleagues from the Kyiv Boris Grinchenko Municipal University wrote about Khablov: "He was courageous, principled, and dedicated to his work. He will remain in our memory forever!"
