Serhiy Holovaty will work at a private university

Former acting head of the Constitutional Court, ex-MP and scientist Serhiy Holovaty has accepted an offer to work at the private university 'Kyiv School of Economics'. He started teaching higher education at the invitation of the academic director of the bachelor's program 'Law' Stepan Berk.

Currently, Serhiy Holovaty conducts classes with students at the Kyiv School of Economics.

According to the electronic declaration for 2024, the former judge of the Constitutional Court received 66 thousand UAH salary at the private university. In addition, over the past year, Serhiy Holovaty declared 123.6 thousand UAH in income from independent professional activities as a member of the Venice Commission of the Council of Europe from Ukraine.

Focusing on his teaching activities, Holovaty also distributes his book 'On the Language of Law: Studies, Collected Works, Dictionaries, Documents' among students of various universities. The 'Kyiv School of Economics' is a charitable foundation, and Tymofiy Milovanov serves as the chairman of the board.

Ending Judicial Career

In 2024, Serhiy Holovaty turned 70 years old, which led to the end of his career in the judicial system. Legislation regarding the Constitutional Court stipulates that the powers of a judge end upon reaching this age. This also means the conclusion of his nine-year term in the position of a judge.

Taking this into account, Serhiy Holovaty has embarked on a new phase in his career, focusing on educational and promotional activities aimed at the development of education in Ukraine.
