SBU Drones Attacked Russian Military Factories 'Bazalt' and 'Splav' - Source.

SBU Drones Hit Factories in Russian Rear
This night, long-range drones of the Security Service of Ukraine struck two factories of the military-industrial complex in the Russian rear: 'Bazalt' and 'Splav'. This was reported by sources in the SBU.
The bombardment 'visited' 'Bazalt' - the main defense enterprise of Russia for the production of weapons and ammunition for all types of the RF army (Krasnoarmeysk, Moscow region). Local residents recorded at least seven explosions, after which a fire broke out. Also at the 'Splav' factory - the only enterprise in Russia that designs and develops multiple rocket launch systems and ammunition (Tula). After the drone strikes, a strong fire and smoke occurred on the territory of the enterprise,' the source reported.
In addition, the movement of Ukrainian drones forced the Russians to implement 'Plan Carpet' on the territory of the Moscow region, which involves the closure of airports. This led to a transport collapse. Airlines canceled hundreds of flights.
'Unlike the Russians, who hit residential buildings in peaceful cities, the SBU operates clearly against military facilities that help the enemy conduct armed aggression against Ukraine. Work to weaken Russia's military capabilities will continue,' the informed source in the SBU reported.
By the way, on May 6, the temporarily occupied Crimea underwent a large-scale attack by unidentified aircraft. Explosions were heard in various areas of the peninsula, and Russian anti-aircraft defense systems were activated.
At about 9:30 PM Kyiv Time, the so-called 'governor' of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhaev, announced the introduction of an air raid alert in Crimea.
Also, on the night of Wednesday, May 7, a fire broke out in Tula near two of the largest defense industry enterprises of the RF. Corresponding videos have already appeared on Telegram channels, reports 'Glavkom'.
It is noted that the fire is visible on the street where the Instrument Design Bureau is located, which specializes in developing high-precision guided weapons. Also located on this street is the Scientific and Production Association 'Splav'. This enterprise produces multiple rocket launch systems BM-21 'Grad', BM-27 'Uragan', BM-30 'Smerch', 'Tornado', ammunition for TOS-1A 'Solntsepek'.
Additionally, last night, the Saransk Fiber Optic Factory came under drone attack. A large fire broke out there. Corresponding photos and videos have already appeared on Telegram channels, reports 'Glavkom'.
This is the only fiber optic production plant in Russia. Its first strike occurred on April 5.
Actions of Ukrainian drones in the Russian rear have led to serious consequences and a significant reaction from the Russian authorities. The events exacerbate the conflict situation between Ukraine and Russia, leaving many questions about the future relations between the countries.
