State Border Guard Service warns of traffic jams at the border: where the biggest queues are.

Queues at the Ukrainian border due to Christmas holidays
Ukrainian checkpoints at the border have formed large queues ahead of Christmas. This information is reported by the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine. Hundreds of vehicles are waiting to cross the border.
The largest queues are observed at the border with Poland. At the checkpoints to Poland, 550 cars and 83 buses are expected. Traffic jams have already formed at the 'Krakivets', 'Smilnytsia', 'Nyzhankovychi', and 'Shehyni' crossings.
There are also queues at the Hungarian border. Traffic jams consist of 225 vehicles. The most congested checkpoint is 'Vylok', where 70 cars are expected.
Queues are also present at the Ukraine-Slovak Republic border, but they are smaller. At the 'Malyi Bereznyi' and 'Uzhhorod' checkpoints, 110 cars are waiting to exit.
Farmers from Moldova reported blocking all checkpoints at the border with Ukraine, demanding the continuation of restrictions on grain imports. They are dissatisfied with the delays in extending the restrictions, as this could lead to a decrease in prices for their products. Currently, the restrictions are in effect until the end of the year, and the draft law for extension was only published this week. The actual adoption of the law is possible only in January-February 2025.
