The number of injured from the airstrike in Semenivka, Chernihiv region, has increased to nine people. This was reported by the head of the Chernihiv OVA, Vyacheslav Chaus, on Telegram.
Among the injured are two children aged 8 and 13 years. All were hospitalized at a hospital in the neighboring community. One man was taken to the regional hospital.
It is noted that as a result of the shelling, significant damage was caused to administrative buildings, the local hospital, two five-story buildings, several private houses, and infrastructure facilities.
“24 patients from the local territorial center - elderly people were evacuated from Semenivka to a relevant institution in Chernihiv,” Chaus noted.
Let us remind you that on the evening of January 4, the Russians dropped four guided aerial bombs (KAB) on the border town of Semenivka in the Chernihiv region. The invaders targeted the central part of the city and the residential area.
In addition, on January 4, the enemy carried out an airstrike on a five-story building in the village of Svyesa, Sumy region. Ten people were injured. Among the injured are two children. As of 22:30, rescuers completed emergency rescue operations at the site of the airstrike.
